Environmental Management

Our Environmental Management Plan will comply with all relevant Commonwealth and relevant State legislation. It will detail management levels for waste and water management, air emissions, land disturbance and rehabilitation, soil and flora/fauna conservation including pest and weed control as well as bushfire prevention.

Central Petroleum Limited (Central) has and will continue to maintain its strong stance on incident prevention. Not only do we care for our native land, but we see strong commercial viability in the safe practice of conventional and unconventional oil and gas drilling methods. Central is committed to honesty and integrity in our drilling practices and operations. We believe that public information on how our drilling and production methods are the best reassurance that our activities are a safe and acceptable risk to the environment and public welfare while providing valuable resources, and a better future for Traditional Owners, the local community, the Northern Territory and the nation.
